These terms apply to your use of the SMELOC website and apps (the “Service”), operated by Suffix Technologies Limited, Nairobi, Kenya. By using the Service you agree to them.

1. What SMELOC is

SMELOC is a marketplace that lists products and services offered by independent local businesses, and business tools for those sellers. SMELOC is not the seller of any listed item and is not a party to sales between buyers and sellers.

2. Buying

Buyers contact sellers directly, usually on WhatsApp. Price, delivery, payment, returns and any warranty are agreed between the buyer and the seller. Check the details with the seller before you pay.

3. Selling

Sellers must provide accurate business information, list only items and services they are allowed to sell, keep prices and stock up to date, and respond to buyers in good faith. We may review, hide or remove listings and suspend businesses that break these terms or the law.

4. Subscriptions

Business plans are billed monthly after any free trial. Plans bought through Google Play or the App Store are managed and cancelled through those stores under their terms.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, attempt to access other accounts, scrape data at scale, or post unlawful, misleading or offensive content.

6. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, SMELOC is not liable for transactions between buyers and sellers or for indirect losses arising from use of the Service.
